Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Product Development Engineer to lead end-to-end product development. The role involves analysing market trends, competitor benchmarking, defining cost-effective specifications, preparing BOMs and coordinating with vendors and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, market awareness, and vendor management skills to deliver high-quality, competitive bicycle products on time.

Key Skills:

• B.E./B.Tech. in Industrial, Mechanical, Production or related field

• 3 to 5 years of experience in new product development, preferably in bicycles or Auto(2W) sector

• Proficient in preparing and managing BOMs and technical specifications

• Knowledge of bicycle components, materials, and frame geometry

• Hands-on experience with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)

• Vendor sourcing, evaluation, and cost negotiation skills• Familiarity with compliance standards (ISO, EN, BIS)

• Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability

• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
