Printer Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• large format printers (LFP), plotters, and signage printers

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues related to printers.
  

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal printer performance.
  

• Provide technical support and training to end-users.
  

• Maintain service records and documentation of interventions.
  

• Ensure timely customer service and maintain high satisfaction levels.
  

• Coordinate with the service team and report to the service manager on job status.
  

• Maintain inventory of tools and service parts.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma/ITI in Electronics, Electrical, or relevant technical field.
  

• Minimum 1–5 years of experience in printer servicing, preferably LFP.
  

• mechanical systems, firmware, and printhead technologies.

• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and network configurations.
  

• Familiarity with RIP software, ICC profiles, and color calibration is a plus.
  

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  

• Good communication and customer service abilities.
  

• Willingness to travel for on-site installations and support.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Epson, Mimaki, Roland, HP, or UV printers

• signage, textile, or industrial printers

• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
