Job Title: Playwright Automation Engineer Experience: 4–7 Years Location: Bangalore, India Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Playwright Automation Engineer to join our QA Automation team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Playwright , JavaScript/TypeScript , and a solid understanding of test automation frameworks . You will be responsible for designing, enhancing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks, driving high-quality product releases. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end test automation scripts using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript . Build scalable, maintainable, and reusable automation frameworks. Collaborate closely with QA, Development, and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the automation framework or test scripts. Ensure comprehensive test coverage by writing functional, integration, and regression test cases. Analyze test results and provide quality metrics and reports. Continuously improve test processes and advocate for best practices in test automation. Required Skills & Experience: 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in test automation . Minimum 2+ years of solid experience with Playwright . Strong programming skills in JavaScript and TypeScript . Proven experience in developing and enhancing automation frameworks . Good understanding of testing concepts like BDD, TDD, and agile methodologies. Familiarity with REST APIs and API test automation. Experience working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins , GitLab , or GitHub Actions . Exposure to code versioning tools like Git . Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other test automation tools like Cypress, Selenium (advantageous). Knowledge of performance or security testing (optional).
