Job Description

### *Key Responsibilities:* - Develop, record, and maintain cutting-edge web-based PHP applications. - Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules. - Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges. - Integrate data storage solutions (databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.). - Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to deliver scalable and user-friendly products. - Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality. - Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle. - Follow industry best practices and coding standards. --- ### *Skills and Qualifications:* - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory). - Strong knowledge of *PHP* and *web frameworks* such as *Laravel, **Opencart, **CodeIgniter, or **Yii*. - Good understanding of front-end technologies, such as *JavaScript, **HTML5, and **CSS3*. - Experience with *MySQL* or other relational databases. - Familiarity with *RESTful APIs, **JSON, and **XML*. - Proficient understanding of *code versioning tools* such as Git. - Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming. - Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Linode, etc.) is a plus. - Understanding of MVC design patterns. - Basic knowledge of web servers like Apache or Nginx. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. - Good communication skills and a team player. --- ### *Preferred (but not mandatory):* - Experience with headless CMS or Shopify headless setups. - Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines. - Basic SEO understanding for web application development. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
