Operations Manager – Hub & Fulfilment

You will be responsible for running daily hub operations, while also architecting and optimizing a 3-tier logistics network:

• First Mile:

  From seller pickup to Hyper hub

• Mid Mile:

  From hub to international export destination (e.g., USA)

• Third Leg (Last Mile):

  Final delivery inside the destination country via global courier networks

Key Responsibilities:

• Fulfilment Center Operations:

  Oversee inbound receipt, inventory, picking, packing, labeling, and outbound shipment preparation for cross-border orders.

• International Courier Coordination:

  Manage dispatch planning, customs-prepared handovers, and air cargo booking with partners like DHL, FedEx, and Aramex.

• Cross-Border Network Development:

  including First, Mid and Last mile logistics build ups

• Documentation & Compliance:

  Ensure all shipments meet export compliance requirements - e.g., commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, airway bills, QR-coded labels, and customs documentation.

• SLA & TAT Monitoring:

  Track operational turnaround times across all touchpoints, identify process inefficiencies, and drive improvements.

• Operational Reporting:

  Maintain dashboards for dispatch accuracy, parcel flow velocity, hub throughput, and cost per shipment.

• System & Process Optimisation:

  Collaborate with product and tech teams to improve tracking systems, WMS/OMS integrations, and courier syncs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 5–8 years of experience in

  e-commerce fulfilment, international courier logistics, or cross-border shipping operations

• Strong understanding of air freight, courier networks, and global shipping flows
• Experience in building multi-leg logistics operations including

  first mile pickups, mid-mile exports, and international last mile delivery

• Knowledge of export compliance requirements and documentation is a must
• Comfortable managing fast-moving floor ops, with strong coordination skills across stakeholders
• Hands-on experience with WMS/OMS tools and courier tech platforms
• Prior exposure to startup or fast-growth logistics environments preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or relevant field
