Date: 10 Jun 2025 Company: Qualitest Group Country/Region: IN Exp,: 2-3 yearsLocation: Samsung office in NoidaJob Description: Black Box Testing Specialist (2-3 Years Experience)Position: Black Box Testing SpecialistExperience Level: 2-3 YearsSpecialization: Mobile TestingKey ResponsibilitiesTest Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for mobile applications.Perform black box testing to ensure the application meets functional and non-functional requirements.Identify, document, and track defects/bugs in the application lifecycle.Mobile Application Testing:Conduct testing on various mobile platforms (Android) and devices to ensure compatibility and performance.Test mobile applications for usability, functionality, and user experience (UX).Perform regression testing to validate new features and ensure existing functionality remains intact.Reporting and Analysis:Prepare detailed test reports and metrics to evaluate the quality of the application.Analyze test results to identify trends and areas for improvement.Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to understand requirements and provide feedback.Participate in agile development processes, attending sprint planning meetings and retrospectives.Required Skills:Strong understanding of black box testing principles and methodologies.Experience with mobile application testing on Android platforms.Familiarity with mobile testing tools (e.g., Appium, XCTest, Espresso).Knowledge of mobile device ecosystems, including different screen sizes, OS versions, and hardware configurations.Ability to write clear and concise test cases and defect reports.Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Preferred Skills:Experience with automation tools for mobile testing.Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services testing.Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).Experience with performance and security testing for mobile applications.Basic knowledge of linux operating systemQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.2-3 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on mobile applications.Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.Working Environment:Collaborative team environment with opportunities for professional growth.Exposure to cutting-edge technologies and innovative projects in the mobile domain.
