Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Skills:

• 3D Design Software Proficiency:
• Expertise in tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Creo, NX, or Fusion 360.
• 3D modeling, surface and solid modeling, assembly modeling.
• Technical Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, GD&T, engineering materials, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of sheet metal design, plastic components, machining, and fabrication.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
• Ability to analyze mechanical systems and resolve design or performance issues efficiently.
• Design Validation:
• Performing tolerance analysis, stress analysis (basic FEA), and ensuring DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturing/Assembly) compliance.
• Documentation:
• Preparation of BOM (Bill of Materials), drawings, technical specifications, and design reports.
• Project Management & Communication:
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, R&D).
• Time management and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• 3D Mechanical Design & Development:
• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies in 3D CAD software based on project requirements.
• Prototype Development:
• Work with the prototyping team to develop and test initial designs, ensuring functionality and feasibility.
• Design Reviews:
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into revised models.
• Design Optimization:
• Modify designs for cost-effectiveness, manufacturability, and performance improvement.
• Support Manufacturing:
• Provide technical support to the production team during the manufacturing and assembly process.
• Compliance & Standards:
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal quality requirements.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of design practices, workflows, and product performance.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
