The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the mechanical design of transformer tanks, particularly for Oil-Filled (ONAN), Distribution, Power, Hermetically Sealed, and Inverter Duty Transformers (up to 20 MVA, 33 kV).The role demands proficiency in AutoCAD and preferably SolidWorks, with strong expertise in sheet metal design, fabrication standards, and transformer accessories such as radiators and conservators.Key Responsibilities:* Design and develop transformer tanks and components based on project requirements.* Prepare detailed General Arrangement (GA) drawings and manufacturing drawings.* Create comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOMs) for production and procurement.* Ensure design feasibility, adherence to industry standards, and manufacturability.* Size and design radiators, conservators, and other sheet metal components.* Collaborate with electrical design, production, and quality teams to ensure alignment and execution of design intent.* Support continuous improvement of design processes and documentation.Candidate Requirements:Qualification:Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.Experience:46 years of relevant experience in transformer tank design.Technical Skills: * Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential. * Working knowledge of SolidWorks is preferred. * Strong understanding of sheet metal design and fabrication techniques. * Experience in designing tanks for ONAN, Distribution, Power, Hermetically Sealed, and Inverter Duty Transformers (up to 20 MVA, 33 kV). * Ability to generate accurate drawings and BOMs with high attention to detail. * Familiarity with IS/IEC standards relevant to transformer mechanical design.Desired Attributes:* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Team-oriented with good communication and collaboration skills.* Ability to manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines.Interested candidates can apply with their updated resume to [HIDDEN TEXT]
