What You’ll Do

• Conduct in-depth

  industry and competitor research

• Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and customer insights
• Prepare

  market sizing

  , customer segmentation, and opportunity landscape reports
• Support creation of pitch decks, investment notes, and go-to-market strategies
• Use tools and databases to extract and structure information efficiently
• Work closely with founders, strategy, and sales teams

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• 1–2 years of

  hands-on experience in market research

  (internships included)
• Working knowledge of at least a few

  research tools

  , such as:
• Statista, Crunchbase, Tracxn, PitchBook, SimilarWeb
• Survey platforms (e.g. Google Forms, Typeform)
• Basic Excel modeling and data cleaning
• Strong skills in

  PowerPoint/Google Slides

  for research presentation
• Ability to synthesize large amounts of data into clear, actionable insights
• Excellent communication and written English

Good to Have

• Experience in fintech, consulting, or early-stage startups
• Familiarity with financial statements or basic business models
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
