Mainframe Developer

• We have multiple openings for "Mainframe Developer" in Hyderabad, Telangana.
• This is a Full-time opportunity with Onsite work mode.
• Candidate MUST be local to Hyderabad area and immediately available for joining.
• In-Person interview only.

Mainframe Developer will analyze, design, program, test, and implement new and existing business application software, as well as production support for Mainframe systems utilizing COBOL, IMS-DB, DB2, CICS, VSAM and JCL.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Extensive experience in mainframe application development and support.
• 5+ years of experience in COBOL.
• 5+ years of experience in DB2.
• 5+ years of experience in JCL.
• 5+ years of experience in IMS-DB.
• 5+ years of experience in CICS.
• 5+ years of experience in VSAM.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in a project for Railroad transportation industry is a significant advantage.
• Experience with modernization or migration projects involving mainframe systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design, and program applications for Mainframe systems.
• Implement and test new software components to meet business needs.
• Provide production support for existing Mainframe applications.
• Develop interfaces and reports to support business operations.
• Perform system and user acceptance testing.
• Review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including coding, debugging, and testing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
