Junior Account Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and supporting various accounting functions while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Key Responsibilities Financial Record Management Accurately record daily financial transactions Maintain and update financial records and databases Perform accounts receivable and accounts payable functions Manage cash flow and fund management activities Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Generate management reports and MIS reports Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and potential risks Compliance & Controls Ensure statutory compliance including TDS, TCS, GST, and Income Tax Maintain internal financial controls and audit trails Support external audit processes and collaborate with auditors Perform bank reconciliations and internal audit functions Specialized Functions Manage payroll processing and ensure labor law compliance Support finalization and consolidation of accounts Assist in implementation of new accounting systems Provide financial insights to support management decision-making Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel Hands-on experience with accounting software like ZohoBooks and Advanced MS Excel skills. Understanding of Indian taxation laws (TDS, TCS, GST, Income Tax) Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
