Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of IT to lead our technology initiatives and infrastructure at Dhanalakshmi Group Of Companies (NBFC, Society, Nidhi, etc). The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization’s IT systems — including software development and deployment , hardware infrastructure , and network and cybersecurity . This role demands a strategic thinker who can align technology solutions with business objectives while ensuring regulatory compliance, high availability, and data security. Key Responsibilities : Strategic Planning and Leadership Develop and implement IT strategies that support the overall goals of our NBFC and group companies. Lead digital transformation initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. Collaborate with senior management to drive technology-enabled business growth. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost management for IT infrastructure and projects. Software Management Supervise the development, implementation, and maintenance of core NBFC software (LMS, CRM, ERP, etc.). Evaluate, integrate, or build customized financial solutions and applications. Manage relationships with software vendors, consultants, and service providers. Ensure data integrity and security in all application platforms. Hardware & Infrastructure Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, computers, and data storage systems. Plan for IT asset lifecycle management, procurement, and upgrades. Ensure minimal downtime and high availability of all IT systems. Networking & Cybersecurity Manage LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, routers, and switches to ensure a stable and secure network environment. Implement and regularly update cybersecurity policies, firewall settings, and antivirus protocols. Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards (RBI guidelines, ISO, etc.). Monitor and respond to security breaches or system failures. Team Management Build and lead a high-performing IT team. Conduct training, performance reviews, and career development planning. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure IT practices comply with RBI, SEBI, and other regulatory bodies. Conduct periodic audits, risk assessments, and disaster recovery drills. Implement and monitor backup strategies, data retention, and recovery plans.
