We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Invoicing Officer
to join our Bangalore team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role will support the
Service Revenue
at TOMRA Food by ensuring all revenue administration tasks are completed efficiently, accurately, and in line with key performance indicators (KPIs).This role works closely with our Customer Care Centre (CCC) to deliver high-quality, precise financial transactions and meaningful reporting to internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to manage all service sales accounting and invoicing activities.
- Verify service quotes, purchase orders (POs), and invoice proposals.
- Generate invoices for all service sales orders, including TOMRA Care (maintenance agreements).
- Process and release daily invoices from work orders.
- Ensure leasing and service contracts are managed and invoiced correctly and on time.
- Compile and maintain credit information and records to ensure accurate account processing.
- Support the Customer Service team with invoicing-related queries and tasks.
- Handle customer queries related to service invoicing in a timely and professional manner.
- Meet all reporting deadlines, delivering clear, relevant, and insightful information to support business performance and forecasting.
- Collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strive for continuous improvement in service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Treat internal teams as valued customers—set expectations and aim to exceed them.
- Regularly audit service performance to align with customer needs and expectations, adapting approaches as required.
- Promote and maintain a “Safety First” culture across all activities.
- Complete all administrative tasks accurately and within deadlines.
- Support open communication, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to a positive team culture.
Qualifications
Required Skills/abilities:
- Proficient knowledge of financial structures and processes
- Proven experience in a relevant finance administration role
- Systems knowledge within the Order to Cash cycle
- Experience with Tier 1 or 2 ERP systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, in particular Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Willingness to work cross-functionally and build internal relationships.
- Relationship management and organisational skills
- Builds relationships through trust and maintains them through effective communication
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting or Business
Travel
- Between TOMRA Food sites as required to fulfil responsibilities of role
- Ability to drive without restrictions
