Key Roles of an Inventory Manager: Inventory Planning & Control Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid overstock or shortages Classify and categorize inventory (ABC analysis, FIFO, LIFO, etc.) Stock Monitoring & Record Maintenance Monitor stock levels regularly using ERP/inventory software Ensure accurate data entry for receipts, issues, and adjustments Perform cycle counts and full physical stock audits periodically Receiving & Dispatch Coordination Verify goods received against purchase orders (quality and quantity) Coordinate timely dispatch of finished goods Handle reverse logistics (returns, damaged stock) Warehouse Management Organize storage space for easy retrieval and safe storage Implement inventory tracking systems (barcoding, RFID) Ensure proper labeling and documentation of stock items Reporting & Analysis Generate regular reports: stock status, fast/slow-moving items, aging stock Analyze trends to reduce holding costs and improve inventory turnover ratio Assist finance/procurement teams with insights for budgeting Team Supervision Manage storekeepers, warehouse assistants, loaders, etc. Train staff in handling procedures and safety Ensure accountability in inventory movement Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Health insurance Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Weekend availability Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus Yearly bonus Work Location: In person
