Intern / Trainee – Power Systems

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern / Trainee for our Power Systems Department, focused on System Study and Simulation. This role is ideal for electrical engineering students or recent graduates looking to gain practical experience in power system studies such as load flow, short circuit, and grounding analysis.

The selected candidate will work closely with our engineering team to assist in preparing simulation inputs, organizing data for reports, drafting Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and participating in technical sessions on power system tools like ETAP, DIgSILENT, and EMTP. The role also includes maintaining task updates through Zoho Projects and contributing to internal and external technical documentation.

You will gain hands-on exposure to electrical safety standards, earthing system assessments, and grid-compliance studies, helping you build a strong foundation in electrical system analysis.

• Pursuing or recently completed B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
  

• Fresher or up to 1 year of internship experience in power system simulation or electrical studies
  

• Basic understanding of core power system concepts (e.g., load flow, short circuit, earthing design)
  

• Exposure to tools like ETAP, DIgSILENT, MATLAB, or PSCAD is preferred
  

• Knowledge of standards such as IEC 62305, IEEE 998, or similar is a plus
  

• Ability to work collaboratively, maintain documentation, and track deliverables using Zoho Projects
  

• Good communication skills and eagerness to learn advanced technical tools
  

• Real-time project experience in Power System Studies, Energy Audits, and Electrical Safety Assessments
  

• Training and mentoring from senior power system engineers
  

• Hands-on exposure to industry tools and global standards
