Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Specialist with a strong background in managing and optimizing IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 6-15 years of relevant experience and a deep understanding of cloud technologies, network security, and overall infrastructure architecture. The Infrastructure Specialist will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our organization's IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

1. Infrastructure Planning and Design:

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.

·        Develop and maintain infrastructure architecture blueprints and documentation.

Cloud Technologies:

·        Possess in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with leading cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

·        Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure solutions.

·        Optimize cloud services for cost, performance, and reliability.

Network Security:

·        Implement and maintain robust network security measures to safeguard the organization's data and systems.

·        Conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary security controls.

·        Stay updated on the latest security threats and technologies to proactively address potential risks.

Infrastructure Monitoring and Optimization:

·        Implement monitoring tools to ensure the health and performance of the infrastructure.

·        Proactively identify and address bottlenecks, performance issues, and system outages.

·        Continuously optimize infrastructure for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:

·        Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

·        Conduct regular drills and testing to ensure the effectiveness of recovery procedures.

Vendor Management:

·        Work with vendors to evaluate, select, and implement infrastructure solutions.

·        Manage relationships with key infrastructure-related vendors.

Team Collaboration:

·        Collaborate with IT teams, including development, operations, and security, to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to infrastructure management.

·        Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the infrastructure team.

1. Good knowledge of VMware

Qualifications:

·        6-15 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.

·        Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

·        Strong knowledge of network security principles and best practices.

·        Experience with virtualization technologies and containerization.

·        Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Information Systems Security Professional) are a plus.
