The Identity and Access Management Engineer will be responsible for supporting the Cyber Resilience Programme delivery team in increasing the maturity and coverage of our existing SailPoint IIQ environment, focusing on increased automation and redesign to reduce reliance on manual controls
The successful candidate will also work closely with the Head of Identity and Access Management to manage organisation wide user identities and access control across all of the organizations assets, ensuring access is appropriate and commensurate with job role. The job holder will be responsible for ensuring that IAM standards are met across the business for new systems and retrofit uplifts to existing applications. You will work with SMEs and leverage partner organisations to drive change.
The successful applicant will be a pragmatic self-starter, with a diverse working knowledge of IAM principles and successful change, with strong technical knowledge of SailPoint, a strong understanding of identity governance and administration (IGA), and experience integrating IAM solutions within complex IT environments.
The location of the role is flexible, with hybrid working in the office and from home. There will be an expectation to work within the office 3 days per week. Role Responsibilities
SailPoint Configuration:
Configuration of SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions, including user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access certifications.
Configure workflows, roles, policies, and connectors for various enterprise applications.
Identity Governance and Administration (IGA):
Support compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, through delivery of automation and creation of dynamic reports to support audit requests.
Manage and maintain role-based access control (RBAC) and attribute-based access control (ABAC) frameworks.
Monitor and troubleshoot IAM issues to maintain system reliability and security
Collaborate across and multiple third party to address IAM-related risks, audit findings and incidents.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams.
Integration and Automation:
Further integrate SailPoint with enterprise applications;
Automate manual IAM processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.

CUSTOMER CONDUCT FRAMEWORK
FUNCTIONAL / TECHNICAL SKILLS
Extensive knowledge and proven experience of SailPoint Identity IQ
Ability to triage configuration defects, suggest remediations, update designs and configure the solution
Proven experience of certification configuration including dynamic reviewers, consultation, escalation etc
Awareness of the SNOW/SailPoint module
Understanding of deployment and change processes, Dev, Pre-Prod to Prod, SIT and UAT testing
Creation of dynamic reports to support audit requests and user access visibility
Prioritisation and organisation skills to ensure any work related to audit is prioritised.
Design and implement SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions, including user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access certifications.
Configuration of workflows, roles, policies, and connectors for various enterprise applications.
Understanding of and experience in managing and maintain role-based access control (RBAC) and attribute-based access control (ABAC) frameworks.
Experience in Integrating SailPoint with existing enterprise systems, including Active Directory, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and third-party applications.
