About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Payroll & Compliance

  • Set up and manage monthly payroll and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, etc.)
  • Create HR documentation such as offer letters, appointment letters, NDAs, and contracts

HR Policies & SOPs

  • Develop HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook tailored to factory and office staff
  • Ensure labor law compliance and safety standards

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end hiring for all departments (factory workers, designers, sales, etc.)
  • Conduct interviews, reference checks, and a smooth onboarding experience

Attendance & Leave Management

  • Implement attendance and leave systems (manual or automated)
  • Maintain daily records for smooth payroll and audits

Performance Management & Appraisals

  • Design performance tracking and review frameworks
  • Schedule appraisals and maintain transparent feedback systems

Employee Engagement & Conflict Resolution

  • Organize engagement activities, monthly meetings, and feedback sessions
  • Handle grievances fairly and ensure a respectful work culture

Training & Development

  • Identify training needs and arrange workshops or external training
  • Support upskilling for both factory and office staff

Exit Process & Analysis

  • Conduct exit interviews and collect insights for retention improvements
  • Maintain complete employee lifecycle records


Requirements

  • Experience

    : 2–5 years in HR Operations (Manufacturing or Startup experience preferred)
  • Education

    : Graduate/Postgraduate in HR or Business Admin; HR certification is a plus
  • Skills

    : Proficient with HRMS tools, Excel, and documentation
  • Traits

    : Proactive, detail-oriented, people-first mindset, and strong communication skills
  • Tech

    : Basic system know-how; comfort with implementing new tools/processes
