Job Description

Job Title: Head of Content Location: Bangalore ( On-site only ) Department: Content & Marketing Reports to: Director Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview: As Head of Content , you’ll be responsible for leading our content creation and strategy across web, SEO, social, and paid media. You should have hands-on experience in SEO writing , web copywriting , landing page content creation , Ad Copies and proofreading with a deep understanding of how content supports traffic growth, lead generation, and client success. Key Responsibilities: Content Strategy & Planning Define and execute content strategies for both clients and internal marketing efforts. Build content plans that align with SEO goals, user intent, and conversion objectives. Content Creation & Oversight Write and review high-quality content for websites, blogs, landing pages, ad campaigns, and email sequences. Craft persuasive landing page copy and ad messaging aimed at increasing CTR and conversions. Ensure all content meets SEO best practices, including keyword targeting, meta optimization, and structured formatting. Editing & Quality Control Proofread and edit content for grammar, tone, style, clarity, and consistency. Maintain content standards, brand voice, and editorial quality across all outputs. Team Collaboration Coordinate with SEO, design, paid media, and dev teams to ensure content is effective and well-integrated. Manage freelance or in-house writers, review their work, and provide feedback as needed. Performance Monitoring Track content performance using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, etc.). Optimize existing content based on engagement metrics, SEO rankings, and CRO data. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 3+ years of experience in content writing, copywriting, or digital content strategy. Strong command of SEO writing , web content creation , and landing page copywriting . Proficient in grammar, editing, and proofreading with excellent attention to detail. Solid understanding of SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Surfer, or Clearscope). Ability to write content that not only ranks, but converts — especially for landing pages and ads . Strong time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced agency environment. Proficiency with Google Docs, WordPress, and basic CMS tools. Bonus Skills (Nice to Have): Experience with A/B testing tools or conversion optimization. Familiarity with UX principles and how they relate to content design. Prior agency experience or client-facing content role. Basic understanding of paid media platforms and how copy impacts ad performance.
