Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop integrations between HCL DX portal and external/internal APIs
• Build and consume SOAP, REST, and GraphQL APIs in Java/J2EE environment
• Configure secure API tokens, headers, and middleware bridges
• Integrate SSO providers (OAuth2, SAML) with portal login workflows
• Collaborate with frontend teams to expose data via JSON/XML
• Monitor and debug integration logs, failures, and performance issues
• Document API contracts and integration architecture
  

Must-Have Skills

• Hands-on experience with HCL DX portal API integration
• Java, J2EE, JSON, XML, RESTful APIs, SOAP
• Authentication/Authorization frameworks (OAuth, JWT, SAML)
• Familiarity with WAS and secure DX deployment practices
  

Preferred Skills

• API Gateway tools (Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway)
• Familiarity with Agile integration delivery methods
• Experience with monitoring tools and integration analytics
  

Soft Skills

• Collaboration with multiple technical and business stakeholders
• Analytical thinking and quick root-cause troubleshooting
