Job Title: Google Ads Expert / Lead

Location: Pune

About the Role

We’re looking for a Google Ads Expert/Lead who lives and breathes paid media, especially within the e-commerce and app ecosystem. You’ll be responsible for independently owning the entire Google Ads function — from planning and execution to optimization, reporting, and growth strategy. This is a high-impact role with strong ownership and clear performance accountability, reporting directly to the Performance Marketing Manager.


Key Responsibilities

1. Google Ads Planning & Execution

Build, launch, and scale high-performing Google campaigns across Search, Performance Max (PMax), Display, Demand Gen, and YouTube.

Execute structured full-funnel strategies — prospecting, retargeting, and conversion-focused campaigns.

Own and optimize purchase event tracking, campaign attribution, and audience strategies.

2. Campaign & Budget Management

Plan and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual Google Ads budgets with a focus on ROI, ROAS, CAC, and LTV.

Monitor campaign performance daily and take real-time actions for efficiency and growth.

Utilize Keyword Planner, Auction Insights, and advanced campaign diagnostics.

3. App & Offline Store Marketing

Execute Google UAC campaigns for app installs and retention.

Strategize and run store visit, event-based, and hyperlocal targeting campaigns for offline activation.

4. Creative & Content Collaboration

Collaborate with brand and graphic teams to define creative requirements for search copy, display banners, and video ads.

Share clear briefs with the shoot and brand team for performance-first creatives.

5. Research & Experimentation

Conduct competitor research, keyword gap analysis, and e-commerce trend tracking.

Continuously test new ad formats, audience segments, and placements.

6. Reporting & Insights

Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for internal reviews.

Work closely with the Performance Marketing Manager to align Google efforts with broader business goals.


Must-Have Skills

3.5+ years of hands-on experience in managing large-scale Google Ads campaigns.

Deep understanding of the e-commerce funnel, app install strategies, and paid performance metrics.

Mastery of Search, PMax, Demand Gen, Display, and YouTube campaigns.

Strong analytical mindset and proficiency in tools like GA4, Google Ads Dashboard, Keyword Planner, and Auction Insights.

High attention to detail and ownership mindset.

Bonus if You Have

Experience with Shopify, Firebase, and app tracking integrations.

Exposure to programmatic buying or affiliate/performance marketing.

Prior work on offline-to-online conversion tracking or store visit campaigns.
