Role Overview

We’re looking for a Generative AI Engineer to work part-time with our engineering and product teams. This role is ideal for an AI enthusiast who wants to contribute to real-world applications of LLMs, AI Agents, and GenAI APIs in a high-impact but low-time-commitment setting — just 1 hour per day.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate Generative AI models (e.g., GPT, Claude, LLaMA) into web or business applications.
• Work with APIs like OpenAI, Cohere, Hugging Face, and fine-tune or prompt engineer LLMs for specific tasks.
• Implement RAG pipelines, vector search using FAISS/Pinecone/Weaviate, and handle embeddings efficiently.
• Develop AI Agents and workflows using LangChain, LlamaIndex, or custom pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers and product leads to shape user-facing GenAI features.
• Debug, test, and improve model performance using real-world feedback.

Required Skills

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience with AI/ML, including recent experience with Generative AI or LLMs.
• Proficiency in Python, and experience using frameworks like Transformers, LangChain, or OpenAI SDK.
• Experience with prompt engineering, token management, model response control, and AI integration into applications.
• Understanding of vector databases, embeddings, and document parsing pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills to deliver value in short time slots.

Nice to Have

• Experience with multi-agent systems, tool use (e.g., Agents + Tools), or task orchestration.
• Familiarity with Gradio, Streamlit, Flask, or other rapid prototyping tools.
• Knowledge of cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and API security.
• Exposure to MLOps or AI productization in production environments.

Engagement Details

• Time: 1 hour daily (Monday to Friday)
• Remote: Fully flexible and asynchronous (preferred daily check-in time)
• Compensation: Monthly retainer based on experience and project needs
