Full Stack Engineer(React & Python)

Role & responsibilities

Develop and maintain end-to-end product features across both frontend and backend.

Enhance and scale our payments infrastructure to support growing transaction volumes.

Work closely with designers and product managers to deliver polished, user-centric experiences.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify high-impact areas and lead development initiatives.

Participate in on-call pager duty every 7 weeks to help maintain 24/7 product uptime.

Implement and advocate for best practices in testing, code quality, and system performance.

Contribute to system architecture discussions, making balanced decisions between speed, scalability, and technical debt.

Preferred candidate profile

3 to 10 years (or suitable range) of experience in building full-stack web applications.

Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript for building modern, responsive user interfaces.

Solid experience with Python for backend development.

Familiarity with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.

Hands-on experience deploying and scaling applications on AWS.

Exposure to integrating third-party services like Stripe for payment processing.

Understanding of containerization using Docker.

Comfortable participating in an on-call rotation and troubleshooting production issues.

Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with designers, PMs, and other engineers.

Passionate about writing clean, maintainable code and continuously improving system performance.
