Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cutting-edge web applications using Node.js and React.js.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Coordinate with the client to gather requirements.
• Implement applications using React.
• Create front-end applications using HTML5, Angular, LESS/SASS.
• Write modular, secure, and well-tested front-end code.
• Cooperate with the back-end developer in the process of building the RESTful API.
• Develop user interfaces for Modern Rich Internet Applications with the latest front-end technologies.
• Translate complex business and functional requirements into technical designs.
• Responsible for ensuring high performance portal.
• Lead team, take initiatives, recommend improvements, mentor, and guide junior team members.
• Explore new technology stacks which can improve product efficiency.
• Perform peer code reviews.
• Follow and improve coding standards and define best practices.
• Work on JavaScript development on both client and server-side.
• Create secure RESTful-based web services in XML and JSON, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Continuous integration (Jenkins/Hudson) and version control (SVN, Git).
  

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science related field.
• 3 years of experience with React.js and Node.js and its core principles.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and React.js, with a deep understanding of their ecosystems.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux) or React Hooks.
• Solid understanding of web development principles, including RESTful APIs and responsive design.
• Documenting Node.js processes, including the creation of database schemas (min 1 year).
• Proficiency in server-side languages such as Node.js and Next.js, GraphQL related.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB, NoSQL.
• Data storage and data access from database systems such as MongoDB.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, HTML5, and CSS.
• Experience in Redux or Context API.
• A good understanding of the DevOps process and how to effectively manage CI and CD.
• Hands-on and solid experience with cloud-based platforms (i.e. AWS, Azure) solution experience.
• Experience in Agile Methodology.
• Use of JIRA is a must.
• Ability to communicate in English.
