Full Stack Developer (JavaScript/Node.js + React)

We’re helping a partner hire a Full Stack Developer proficient in JavaScript, especially with Node.js and React, to build end-to-end features for a cutting-edge e-commerce platform. Our partner is an innovative e-commerce startup revolutionizing online shopping experiences, looking for a developer who can handle both server-side logic and rich front-end interactions. In this role, you'll be responsible for creating scalable backend APIs in Node.js and developing responsive web interfaces in React. This is a 100% remote role open to candidates from anywhere, offering the chance to work on a modern stack with a global team.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web features using Node.js for backend and React for frontend components.
• Implement RESTful APIs and business logic on the server, interacting with databases and other services.
• Build modular and responsive UI components in React, integrating with backend endpoints and ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing and collaborate with QA for integration testing across the stack.
• Work closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver features from concept to deployment.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on full-stack JavaScript.
• Proficiency in Node.js (Express or similar frameworks) for building backend services and APIs.
• Strong skills in React.js for front-end development, including state management (using Context, Redux or hooks) and component lifecycle.
• Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL, e.g., MongoDB) and writing efficient queries or using ORMs.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and agile development practices.
• Ability to thrive in a remote work environment with strong communication and teamwork skills.
