Front-End Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a Frontend Developer to join our technology team. You’ll be at the forefront of designing and developing web applications that power mission-critical payment solutions. You should be passionate about creating seamless user experiences, building scalable UI components, and working closely with designers and backend developers.

This role is a perfect blend of design implementation and frontend development, contributing directly to the user-facing interfaces of Payfin products.

Tech Stack

• Languages: HTML, CSS, SCSS, TypeScript, JavaScript
• Frameworks & Libraries: React.js (must), Node.js (basic familiarity is a plus)
• Styling: Bootstrap, SASS/SCSS, CSS Grid, Flexbox
• Design Tools: Figma, Adobe XD
• Version Control: Git/GitHub
• Testing Tools (Good to have): Jest, Cypress
• Build Tools: Webpack, Vite (bonus)

Responsibilities

• Translate UI/UX design wireframes into responsive, high-quality code
• Determine the structure and design of web pages for desktop and mobile
• Develop reusable components and front-end libraries
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Collaborate with backend developers, product managers, and UI/UX designers
• Maintain brand consistency and visual integrity across the platform
• Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and mobile-first implementation
• Debug, test, and profile frontend applications across different browsers
• Keep up with the latest trends in frontend development and UI/UX

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in frontend development
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, Javascript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and building mobile-first applications
• Experience working with Figma or Adobe XD for design handoffs
• Understanding of web performance optimization and SEO-friendly development
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and basic integration with backend services
• Experience with browser debugging and developer tools
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
