About the Role

We are looking for a

Field Sales Account Manager

with strong communication, relationship-building, and technical selling capabilities to join our dynamic and fast-growing team. This is a field-based role suited for a motivated and goal-oriented professional with a strong background in B2B sales, ideally in manufacturing or industrial sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue, expanding accounts, creating long-term value, and ensuring excellent client engagement.You will need to thrive in a client-facing environment, maintain deep relationships with collaborators, and be able to understand the financial and technical nuances of manufacturing clients. As a Field Sales Account Manager, your ultimate goal is to

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and Maintain a Strong Pipeline: Actively develop and manage a robust pipeline that aligns with expected sales goals and delivers tangible outcomes.
  • Value Creation & Cross-Selling: Identify client needs and offer the right mix of products and solutions to drive barrel expansion and upselling. Create compelling value propositions and case studies for savings opportunities.
  • Client Engagement: Foster strong, trust-based relationships with customers, ensuring long-term retention and continuous value creation.
  • Target-Based Activities: Operate with a structured approach to meet or exceed predefined sales targets, KPIs, and customer acquisition objectives.
  • Understand Customer Finances: Comprehend key financial drivers and business challenges of manufacturing organizations to position solutions that directly impact ROI.
  • Relationship Management: Manage stakeholder relationships at all levels including key collaborators, influencers, and decision-makers.
  • New Business Development: Continuously scout for new business opportunities and prospective clients while also nurturing existing accounts.
  • Collaboration & Team Growth: Identify, engage, and support in onboarding new team members or collaborators who can contribute to team success and culture.
  • Technical and Negotiation Excellence: Be proficient in understanding technical requirements and lead complex sales negotiations, ensuring customer satisfaction and profitable growth.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of field sales/account management experience, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or a technical domain.
  • Sales Skills: Strong ability to manage end-to-end sales cycles, from prospecting and solution pitching to closing and follow-up.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; adept at conveying complex concepts in a relatable manner.
  • Questioning & Discovery: Strong listening skills with the ability to ask insightful questions to uncover true customer needs.
  • Technical Acumen: Comfortable understanding technical product specifications and translating them into customer-centric solutions.
  • Negotiation: Proven ability to drive win-win negotiations with complex stakeholders.
  • Relationship Management: Track record of building lasting partnerships and client satisfaction.
