Qualifications :

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical engineering with 5 – 10 years of experience in engineering of Oil & Gas Projects.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as SmartPlant 3D, E3D, PDMS, AutoCAD Plant 3D, or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of piping components, materials, and design standards (ASME B31.3, B31.1, API, etc.).
• Knowledge of pipe routing practices, support requirements, and safety clearances.
• Experience with laser scan data integration and intelligent P&ID tools is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, with good organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities :

• Ensure timely and high-quality Piping engineering delivery, engaging with clients, reviewing deliverables, and providing technical support for projects and proposals.

• Value engineering principles, proposing cost-effective solutions that align with project requirements and maintain design integrity.

• Participate in design reviews, 3D model reviews, HAZOP studies, and other safety and quality-related activities to ensure safe and compliant project execution.

• Proactively identify and address technical risks, collaborating with peers and third parties to ensure project integrity and success.

• Collaborate closely with other engineering departments to ensure seamless coordination of engineering activities, promoting integration and minimizing conflicts.

• Support the proposal team, document reviews, and Technical Query (TQ) issuance to ensure effective proposal preparation. Prepare and review the BOQ for Piping items.

• Provide input to project team in reviewing contracts and establishing engineering deliverables, ensuring designs comply with corporate and industry standards.

Preferred:

• Experience in EPC or detailed design projects.
