Job Title: Electrical Design Trainee

Job Summary:

As an Electrical Design Trainee, you will support the electrical engineering team in designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components. You will assist in creating electrical schematics, layouts, and documentation under the guidance of senior engineers. This role provides hands-on experience in electrical design for various applications, including industrial systems, building services, renewable energy, or product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings using CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar).
• Support the design of low-voltage and high-voltage electrical systems.
• Perform basic electrical calculations (load, voltage drop, short-circuit analysis).
• Assist with component selection and bill of materials (BOM) preparation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, civil, and project engineering staff.
• Participate in testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems or prototypes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEEE).
• Document and organize design files, technical reports, and revision records.
• Attend site visits or inspections under supervision, if required.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of electrical circuits, systems, and design principles.
• Familiarity with electrical design software (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior engineers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
