DHI Solutions - Cloud Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Optimize cloud costs through FinOps practices, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and analytics solutions using BigQuery for large-scale data processing.
• Implement Cloud DevSecOps practices to ensure secure, automated, and efficient CI/CD pipelines.
• Leverage Vertex AI for building, deploying, and managing machine learning models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and deploy GCP solutions tailored to business needs.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance GCP infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Stay updated on GCP services and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
  

Required Qualifications

• Google Cloud Certifications: Minimum of two Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer, Professional Machine Learning Engineer, etc.).
• Experience: Demonstrated hands-on experience working on Google Cloud projects, including:
• FinOps: Cost optimization and cloud financial management.
• BigQuery: Data warehousing and analytics.
• Cloud DevSecOps: Secure development and operations pipelines.
• Vertex AI: Machine learning model development and deployment.
• Other GCP services such as Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, or Cloud Run.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, security, and networking principles.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, or Java) for automation and integration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional Google Cloud certifications or other relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Deployment Manager).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) for containerized workloads.
