Xpressbees is looking for a proactive and technically sound

Desktop Support Engineer

to join our team on a contractual basis at our

Bhiwandi

location. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in desktop and laptop support, with strong troubleshooting skills in both

Windows and Ubuntu

operating systems.

Key Responsibilities

Provide first-line technical support for desktops, laptops, and printers.
Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution on hardware, software, and network-related problems.
Configure and install OS (Windows Ubuntu), software, and necessary drivers.
Setup and maintain printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
Coordinate with the IT team for escalated issues and ensure timely resolution.
Maintain asset and inventory records of IT equipment.
Provide support during shift hours as per rotational schedule.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in IT/Desktop support role.
Hands-on experience with Windows and Ubuntu OS troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of hardware components, software installation, and peripheral device configuration.
Good understanding of networking basics (LAN, IP addressing, etc.).
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in rotational shifts and under minimal supervision.
