Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning:

  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project.
  • Coordinate with engineering, execution, and subcontracting teams to ensure realistic planning.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify deviations or delays.
  • Assist in resource planning (manpower, machinery, materials) and logistics scheduling.
  • Prepare project baseline and track progress against it.

Procurement Management:

  • Prepare procurement plans in line with project schedule and budget.
  • Float RFQs/RFPs, evaluate vendor quotations, and conduct negotiations.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely material delivery.
  • Finalize procurement orders with adherence to technical specifications and commercial terms.
  • Maintain vendor database and develop alternative sources to mitigate risks.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain planning and procurement trackers and dashboards.
  • Generate periodic reports (daily/weekly/monthly) on planning & procurement status.
  • Support the team in preparing client submission documents related to planning & procurement.

Interface Coordination:

  • Liaise with engineering, construction, QA/QC, and finance departments to ensure alignment.
  • Interface with clients and consultants on planning, materials, and contractual issues.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms and procurement policies.
  • Monitor critical material availability and mitigate procurement-related risks.

Skills Required:

  • Strong command of

    Primavera P6

    , MS Project, and Excel-based planning tools.
  • Good knowledge of construction materials, market vendors, and supply chain management.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects/sites across geographies.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be willing to travel and stay at project sites across India.
  • May be required to work extended hours during project deadlines or critical stages.
