Profile Summary
A seasoned procurement and project cost specialist with 10+ years of experience driving cost estimation, strategic procurement, and project delivery in large-scale renewable energy initiatives. Currently responsible for end-to-end project costing on significant multi-MW installations, leveraging a systematic, holistic approach to enhance project profitability and organizational performance.

Core Responsibilities
1. Advanced Cost Estimation & Financial Strategy
  • Drive detailed cost estimation for multi-MW renewable projects—including BOQ-driven budgets spanning modules, inverters, trackers, BESS, civil works, and grid infrastructure—ensuring accuracy and competitiveness
  • Manage current role-related large-scale project costing activities, tracking variances against actuals, and incorporating trends in commodity pricing (e.g., steel, copper, logistics) into dynamic cost models
  • Provide market intelligence and competitor analysis to inform bid pricing strategies and protect margin.
2. Strategic Procurement & Vendor Relations
  • Develop, execute, and optimize procurement strategies for EPC sub-packages and BOS components, including RFx processes and contract negotiations to align with cost objectives.
  • Identify, develop, and onboard new vendors, balancing performance, quality, cost, and sustainability criteria.
  • Nurture long-term supplier relationships and maintain benchmark pricing tables for effective sourcing decisions
3. Integrated Risk & Supply Chain Management
  • Conduct risk assessments for technical, commercial, and delivery aspects to support mitigation strategies and safeguard schedules and budgets.
  • Optimize supply chain flows and manage logistics coordination to reduce lead times and costs while maintaining project timelines
4. Project Commercial Leadership
  • Lead procurement and commercial support across project lifecycles, from bid to commissioning—ensuring time-, cost-, and quality-aligned delivery.
  • Track and report KPIs such as procurement cost savings, lead-time reduction, and cost variance, using MIS dashboards and cost monitoring tools.
5. Systems, Data & Documentation
  • Design and maintain standardized cost estimation models, MIS dashboards, and document repositories for seamless procurement operations.
  • Support digitalization of cost-estimation workflows to enhance accuracy and responsiveness
6. Stakeholder Engagement & Safety
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, finance, BD, and vendor teams to align procurement plans and cost estimates.
  • Represent procurement in technical-commercial forums, and hold certifications in First-Aid and Hydrogen fundamentals to support on-site safety and technical literacy.
