Job Summary:

Business Development Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation:

    Proactively research and identify potential B2B clients in target markets through online tools, directories, and industry events.
  • Client Acquisition:

    Initiate contact with prospects via cold emails, calls, and social platforms to present cybersecurity offerings and qualify leads.
  • Email Outreach:

    Create and manage targeted email campaigns with structured follow-ups to engage and nurture leads through the sales funnel.
  • Proposal Drafting:

    Collaborate with technical and sales teams to prepare customized proposals, presentations, and RFP responses based on client needs.
  • CRM Management:

    Maintain accurate records of leads, activities, and communications using CRM tools to ensure clear tracking and reporting.
  • Market Intelligence:

    Stay informed on cybersecurity trends, threats, and competitors to refine outreach strategy and identify opportunities.
  • Relationship Building:

    Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospective and existing clients, ensuring a consultative sales approach.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B business development, preferably within the

    cybersecurity or IT services sector

  • Strong knowledge of lead generation tools and best practices (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Hunter.io, Apollo, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to write clear, persuasive, and tailored emails and proposals.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity products and terminology (e.g., endpoint protection, SIEM, firewalls, etc.) is a strong plus.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and email automation platforms.
