Business Development Manager is the driving force behind identifying business opportunities, pitching offerings from The Purple Turtles, Beruru and Oorjaa, following up with potential clients, and securing projects. This role is critical in executing key initiatives, managing client relationships, and enabling accelerated business growth.
This position requires a strong balance of sales experience, technical aptitude, and account management skills that deliver measurable results. The Business Development Manager should be able to leverage analytics to assess business effectiveness, adapt strategies when necessary, and consistently achieve targets. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on executor, capable of working independently and collaboratively with internal teams.
The successful candidate must have a strong network of architects, be aggressive in sales, and excel in identifying new business opportunities. Strong organisational planning skills, the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously, and the capacity to work well under pressure are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are critical to success in this role.
