Job Title: Business Development Manager – E-Rickshaw

Location: Bhubaneswar
Department: Sales & Business Development
Experience Required: 3–6 Years (EV or automotive industry preferred)
Qualification: Graduate / MBA in Sales, Marketing or relevant field

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to lead our sales and distribution efforts in the E-Rickshaw segment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding our dealer network, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth in assigned regions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Growth:

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets in the E-Rickshaw category.
  • Identify new markets, dealer networks, institutional clients, and fleet operators for business expansion.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.

Channel & Dealer Management:

  • Onboard and manage dealers/distributors across target regions.
  • Train and support dealer staff on product knowledge, sales strategies, and promotional activities.
  • Monitor dealer performance and resolve any channel conflicts or issues.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, transport operators, and commercial buyers.
  • Regularly engage with key clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Market Intelligence:

  • Conduct competitor analysis and gather market insights on pricing, product features, and promotional strategies.
  • Share feedback with internal teams to support product improvement and innovation.

Promotion & Campaigns:

  • Plan and execute local marketing campaigns, roadshows, and demo drives to boost brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team for promotional material and brand positioning.

Reporting & Coordination:

  • Prepare and share regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and new opportunities.
  • Coordinate with production, logistics, and after-sales service teams for smooth order fulfillment and customer support.

Key Skills Required:
