Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Business Development Associate to join our growing AI and Communication product team. This role is ideal for MBA graduates who are passionate about technology and eager to contribute to business growth across global markets including the US, UK, and Africa.You will be actively involved in lead generation, client engagement, product demonstrations, and supporting pre-sales and marketing activities. Your insights will play a key role in aligning product offerings with market needs and driving adoption of our AI-powered platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential clients for AI and communication solutions
  • Conduct market research to uncover trends, customer needs, and opportunities
  • Build a pipeline of qualified leads via cold outreach, networking, and digital channels
  • Engage prospects, deliver demos, and communicate product value
  • Activate and support trial accounts to demonstrate product capabilities
  • Work closely with product, marketing, and development teams to ensure client requirements are met
  • Collaborate on marketing campaigns that generate interest and conversions
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
  • Provide feedback to enhance product-market fit and maintain a competitive edge
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies
  • Report sales progress, forecasts, and market insights to leadership

Requirements:

  • MBA graduates preferred (with specialization in Marketing, International Business, or Systems)
  • 0–3 years of experience in business development, SaaS sales, or pre-sales (internships/projects count)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Interest in technology, particularly SaaS and AI solutions
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Freshsales
  • Ability to understand client needs and align them with technical offerings
  • Analytical mindset and self-starter with strong organizational skills
  • Enthusiastic, adaptable, and eager to work in a dynamic startup environment
