Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and confident Branch Manager to lead our in-house team, including team leaders and counselors. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge in sales and counseling, be emotionally intelligent, and skilled in motivating and mentoring the team. The role includes conducting regular reviews, handling branch-level operations, and building a performance-driven yet caring work environment. Key Responsibilities:Sales Growth & Counseling Support: Monitor daily walk-ins, support counselors in converting inquiries to admissions. Guide team members in promoting suitable courses, closing admissions, and meeting revenue targets. Track and support follow-ups for dues and collections. Team Leadership, Motivation & Mentoring: Lead team leaders and junior staff with confidence and clarity. Regularly motivate the team using appreciation, goal setting, and recognition techniques. Be a mentor by understanding each employee’s strengths, challenges, and growth needs. Handle emotional challenges or demotivation with empathy and guidance. Training & Development: Train newly joined team members on customer handling, communication, and admission process. Identify performance or behavior gaps and implement simple skill-building practices. Build a branch culture of continuous learning and self-improvement. Empathy & Culture Building: Maintain a healthy work environment where employees feel heard and supported. Balance performance push with emotional understanding and people care. Set an example of discipline with kindness and mutual respect. Regular Review & Reporting: Conduct daily and weekly performance reviews with team leaders and counselors. Track KPIs like admission numbers, follow-up success, and student satisfaction. Share insights and reports with the Business Head to support improvement plans. Coordination & Branch Management: Coordinate with telecalling, faculty, and admin teams to ensure smooth operations. Handle customer issues or escalations in a professional and empathetic manner. Ensure branch SOPs and management instructions are followed effectively. Required Skills & Qualifications:Graduate (any stream); education or counseling background is a plus 6 years of experience in team handling, sales, or customer engagement Fluent in Tamil (English communication is an advantage) Strong in team motivation, emotional intelligence, and counseling approach Good at planning, communication, and creating a positive workplace Preferred Candidate Profile: Female candidate with a warm, confident, and motivating personality Passionate about education and team development Capable of leading by example, handling people with empathy and accountability Committed to branch success through teamwork, discipline, and emotional connection
