We’re hiring a driven and meticulous Batch Operations Specialist to lead and optimize critical batch job management across multiple global systems. 🔍 Role Overview In this hands-on technical role, you will: Lead and coordinate shift-based batch operations including Control-M job scheduling and troubleshooting. Create, update, and maintain JCL job flows and participate in Go-Live and major system migrations . Monitor job health and proactively fix or escalate failures to ensure SLAs are met. Mentor junior team members, conduct knowledge-sharing sessions, and assist with process documentation. 🔧 Must-Have Skills 5+ years in Batch Operations, with expertise in Control-M , JCL , and production support. Solid knowledge of Linux commands and any scripting language . Experience handling batch flow optimization , dataset restores , and incident response . Strong working knowledge of CPI , ITIL processes , and ServiceNow (SNOW) ticketing. Outstanding communication , problem-solving , and team leadership abilities. 🤝 Key Responsibilities Act as Shift Lead , delegate tasks, and ensure checklist adherence. Troubleshoot job failures, escalate as needed, and ensure timely delivery of batch reports . Handle query and restore requests , and ensure service excellence during on-call shifts .
