Back End Developer

We are looking for an experienced C# .NET Backend Developer with a strong background in building scalable web applications using ASP.NET MVC and MS SQL Server. The ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience or familiarity with using Microsoft Copilot or similar AI-assisted coding tools to enhance productivity and maintain high code quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using

  C#

  and

  ASP.NET MVC

• Write optimized and complex

  MS SQL

  queries, stored procedures, and functions
• Leverage

  Microsoft Copilot

  (or other AI tools) to streamline code generation and improve development efficiency
• Collaborate with front-end developers, QA engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality features
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues
• Document technical designs and contribute to architectural decisions

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a backend developer in the .NET ecosystem
• Proficiency in C# and ASP.NET MVC
• Strong expertise in MS SQL Server: complex queries, indexing, optimization, stored procedures, etc.
• Experience using or exposure to Microsoft Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and development
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively

Nice to Have

• Experience with .NET Core / .NET 6+
• Knowledge of Entity Framework / Dapper
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Understanding of unit testing frameworks (e.g., MSTest, NUnit, xUnit)
