Role: AutoCAD Draftsman

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D wiring diagrams, schematics, and project-related drawings based on engineering designs, specifications, and requirements provided by engineers and designers.
• Develop isometric views and layouts for electrical, mechanical, and other system designs as required.
• Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and specific client requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to clarify design intent, resolve discrepancies, and address any technical challenges during the drafting process.
• Review and update drawings as necessary based on feedback and design changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain organized files and documentation of all drawings, revisions, and project specifications for reference and future use.
• Participate in design reviews and meetings, contributing ideas to improve drawing accuracy, efficiency, and overall project quality.
• Stay updated on industry trends, AutoCAD software updates, and best practices related to technical drawing and drafting.

• Or done course or diploma in Autocad
• Can travel within Mumbai when required
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software with a strong understanding of 2D drafting techniques, specifically for wiring diagrams and other technical project drawings.
• Previous experience creating electrical, wiring, and isometric drawings in a professional setting is preferred.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles, electrical schematics, and technical drawing standards.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in creating 2D drawings and layouts.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines.
• Familiarity with other CAD software or graphic design tools is an added advantage.
• A degree or certification in drafting, electrical engineering, or a related field is an added advantage.
