Associate Auditor

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Audit Assistant to support the audit team in conducting statutory, internal, and tax audits. The ideal candidate should possess a sound understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and executing audits (statutory, internal, tax, and stock audits).
• Verify financial records, trial balance, ledger scrutiny, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare working papers, audit files, and schedules as per audit requirements.
• Perform compliance checks related to Income Tax, GST, and other applicable laws.
• Identify audit findings, summarize issues, and support in drafting audit reports.
• Support the audit team in fieldwork, data collection, and vouching of transactions.
• Assist in physical verification of assets, inventory, and bank reconciliations.
• Coordinate with clients to obtain necessary information and clarifications.
• Maintain proper documentation and confidentiality of client data.

Requirements:

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter / ACCA (partial) or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of experience in auditing or accounting
• Knowledge of accounting software such as Tally, or ERP systems.
• Familiarity with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), IFRS
• Good command over MS Excel, Word, and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Working knowledge of Income Tax returns, GST returns, and TDS compliance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year

• Kannothumchaal, Cannanore - 670006, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
