Job Description

Team leader profile, responsible for managing project delivery, team performance, and resource allocation to meet quality and timeline goals. Ensures compliance with industry standards while driving value engineering and standardization initiatives. Collaborates cross-functionally to support seamless execution and continuous improvement 


Key Responsibilities:


Delivery Management:

  • Monitor project timelines, ensuring deliverables are met as per schedule and quality standards.
  • Mitigate risks related to delays or quality issues through proactive planning and problem-solving.
  • Lead and mentor design/CAD engineers and conduct regular performance reviews, provide technical guidance, and foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Resource and Compliance Management:

  • Plan and allocate engineering resources effectively based on project priorities and workloads.
  • Track team capacity and adjust assignments to optimize performance and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Conduct

    value engineering activities

    to identify and deliver high quality and cost-efficient product.
  • Ensure

    component compliance

    with design and manufacturing feasibility standards (Desired knowledge of Eurovent, CE, AHRI etc)

Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Coordination between Engineering and CFT (Operations, Sales and Engineering) to ensure seamless project execution and communication.

Standardization & Data Management:

  • Identify parts/product/process standardization.
  • detailed records of

    BOMs, ECRs and ECNs.

  • Analyse change trends and identify recurring issues with improvement opportunities.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
  • 7+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or product development.
  • Strong knowledge of DFM, BOM structures, and costing methods.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD/SolidWorks and ERP/SAP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Experience in value engineering and cost analysis is a plus.
