Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Assistant Manager / Business Development Manager to drive life insurance sales through direct client engagement and field visits. The ideal candidate should have a strong sales background, experience in lead generation, and the ability to convert prospects into customers. This is a performance-oriented role that offers attractive incentives, allowances, and excellent career growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities Generate leads through field visits, cold calling, reference networks, and market activities Conduct customer meetings to understand financial needs and recommend suitable life insurance products Explain policy details, benefits, and premium options to clients and resolve their queries Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and contribute to overall business growth Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction Coordinate with branch teams, operations, and underwriters to ensure smooth policy processing Participate in marketing campaigns, roadshows, and customer engagement initiatives Maintain timely records of all sales activities, leads, and customer interactions in CRM or reporting formats Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory guidelines Required Skills & Competencies Proven field sales experience (minimum 2 years) in life insurance, financial products, or similar sectors Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet targets Good understanding of life insurance products, customer needs, and regulatory compliance Willingness to travel extensively for field visits and customer meetings Basic computer literacy and familiarity with reporting tools or CRM systems Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Graduation is mandatory) IRDAI certification preferred (can be obtained post-joining if not available) Candidates with prior experience in insurance sales, agency, or banca channels will be preferred What We Offer Fixed salary up to ₹7 LPA (based on experience and performance) Lucrative performance-based incentives and monthly/quarterly rewards Travel and communication allowances Professional development and career growth opportunities Supportive team culture and sales enablement tools Skills: crm systems,crm proficiency,customer engagement,customer meetings,life insurance,field visit,communication skills,negotiation skills,sales,interpersonal skills,field sales experience,life insurance products knowledge,customer needs assessment,negotiation,market knowledge,regulatory compliance,relationship management,field sales,life insurance product knowledge,computer literacy,incentives,lead generation,reporting tools,insurance,policy explanation,life insurance knowledge,interpersonal,crm familiarity,customer relationship management,reporting tools familiarity,basic computer literacy,communication,customer needs analysis,life insurance products,reporting
