We're making every move count To drive the growth of Kalmar’s aftermarket business by promoting and selling genuine spare parts and service kits for port equipment, including reachstackers, terminal tractors, forklifts, and RTGs. The role focuses on building strong customer relationships, ensuring parts availability, and supporting operational uptime for customers. Main tasks and responsibilities Parts Sales & Revenue Growth Identify new sales opportunities for spare parts within existing and potential customers across ports, terminals, and logistics companies. Promote Kalmar/ Indital Genuine Parts, service kits, and parts campaigns to enhance equipment lifecycle and performance. Prepare quotations, follow up on orders, and convert inquiries into confirmed sales. Customer Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong relationships with procurement, maintenance, and fleet managers of customers. Act as a trusted advisor on parts-related matters, offering technical advice and solutions to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime. Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination Coordinate with Kalmar’s regional and global warehouses to ensure timely delivery of parts. Monitor demand forecasts and support local inventory planning for fast-moving and critical components. Collaborate with the logistics team to resolve delays or backorders. Market Intelligence & Reporting Track competitor offerings, pricing trends, and customer preferences to support pricing and promotional strategies. Provide regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and potential business risks or opportunities. System & Process Management Use ERP and CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce) for order management, customer interaction logging, and sales tracking. Ensure accuracy in documentation, including quotations, purchase orders, and invoicing. What you’ll need to succeed Requirements:- Education Diploma or Degree (Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive, or Industrial Engineering will be added advantage ) Experience 3+ years in parts sales, preferably in the heavy equipment or port equipment industry or similar. Experience with similar brands (Konecranes, Hitachi,Hyster, Terex, etc.) is a strong advantage. Skills Strong technical knowledge of port equipment components or heavy duty equipments Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Familiarity with spare parts catalogs, exploded diagrams, and service kits.
