Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Executive to manage sales operations within a designated geographical area. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships with clients and dealers, achieving sales targets, and ensuring market penetration. Key Responsibilities: Sales Target Achievement Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Execute company sales strategies in the assigned territory. Client Relationship Management Build and maintain long-term relationships with retail partners, distributors, and clients. Conduct regular client visits to understand their business needs. Market Expansion & Lead Generation Identify new business opportunities and tap into unexplored areas. Generate leads through cold calls, references, and field activity. Territory Management Cover assigned geographical area effectively and plan daily routes. Monitor product availability and visibility across stores. Product Knowledge & Promotion Ensure in-depth knowledge of all products offered. Conduct product demonstrations and promotional activities. Reporting and Documentation Maintain records of client interactions, sales, and follow-ups. Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the reporting manager. Competitor Tracking Monitor competitor activities, offers, pricing, and strategies. Share insights with the internal team for strategy adjustments. Coordination with Internal Teams Work closely with logistics, finance, and warehouse teams for order fulfillment. Resolve delivery issues, payment follow-ups, and client complaints promptly. Key Skills Required: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Field sales experience in a relevant industry Basic computer proficiency (Excel, Email, CRM) Negotiation and closing skills Problem-solving and decision-making ability Customer-focused approach Time and territory management Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline (BBA/MBA preferred) 2–5 years of field sales experience Experience in [industry type] sales preferred Additional Information:Must own a two-wheeler and smartphone Willing to travel extensively within the assigned area Must be target-driven and self-motivated
