We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Acoustic Engineer to join our team. The ideal

candidate will have in-depth knowledge of acoustic principles, materials, and testing

methodologies. You will be responsible for performing acoustic calculations, conducting site

measurements, analyzing acoustic performance using software tools, and producing

comprehensive technical reports. This role involves both design and field responsibilities,

supporting a wide range of commercial, industrial, and specialized acoustic projects.

Key Responsibilities:

● Conduct acoustic analysis and simulations for sound absorption, sound transmission

loss, reverberation time (RT60), and noise control.

● Perform on-site acoustic measurements using professional equipment (e.g., sound level

meters, dosimeters, reverberation meters).

● Specify and recommend suitable acoustic materials (PET panels, Rockwool, perforated

boards, MLV, etc.) based on project requirements.

● Use acoustic software such as EASE, Odeon, Sound PLAN, INSUL, or similar for modeling

and simulations.

● Interpret acoustic test data and generate detailed technical reports with performance

evaluations and improvement suggestions.

● Support in the design and development of acoustic treatments, enclosures, and sound

isolation systems.

● Collaborate with architects, MEP teams, and contractors during project execution to

ensure acoustic standards are met.

● Ensure all designs and tests comply with international standards like ISO, ASTM, EN,

and local regulations.

● Stay updated on latest acoustic materials, testing methods, and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

field.

Experience:

2–5 years of experience in acoustic engineering or a similar role.

Experience in on-site acoustic testing and measurement interpretation is essential.

Technical Skills:

● Proficiency in using acoustic simulation software (EASE, SoundPLAN, INSUL, Odeon,

etc.).

● Hands-on experience with measurement tools like Class 1 Sound Level Meters,

Calibrators, Data Loggers.

● Familiarity with acoustic standards: ASTM E90, E413, E336, ISO 140, ISO 3382, etc.

● Strong understanding of acoustic materials and their properties (e.g., NRC, STC,

absorption coefficients).

Soft Skills:

● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Strong communication skills for report writing and client coordination.

● Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Certifications (Optional):

Membership or certification from professional bodies like IOA (Institute of Acoustics), ASA
