Accountant

Location: Puducherry Job Type: [Full-time] We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining financial stability. Key Responsibilities: Manage Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Provide financial insights and forecasts to senior management. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Supervise the processing of invoices, payments, and collections. Ensure timely payments to vendors and accurate invoicing for customers. Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budget variances and address discrepancies. Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet business needs. Tax Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely tax filings in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. Internal Controls & Audits: Implement and monitor financial controls. Coordinate internal and external audits as needed. Team Management: Lead and develop the accounting team, providing guidance and support. Financial Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks to ensure the company’s financial health. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2 - 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management. Proficiency in accounting software (Tally Prime). Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
