Accountant Assistant

ZooqFilms is a dynamic and growing video production company, known for crafting compelling visual content across diverse platforms. We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our day-to-day financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• GST & TDS Compliance:
• Assist in timely filing of GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
• Perform TDS calculations, deductions, and returns filing.
• General Accounting:
• Maintain accurate books of accounts using journal entries and ledgers.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Invoicing & Accounts Receivable:
• Raise invoices to clients in coordination with project managers.
• Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable and overdue payments.
• Profit & Loss / Balance Sheet:
• Prepare working files for monthly Profit and Loss statements and Balance Sheet.
• Provide support during financial audits and reviews.
• Sales & Expense Reporting:
• Maintain and report on sales data and revenue streams.
• Track and categorize expenses for reporting and analysis.
• Bank Reconciliation:
• Perform monthly bank statement reconciliations to ensure alignment with books.
• Documentation & Records:
• Maintain supporting documents for all transactions.
• Ensure data integrity and financial accuracy.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience preferred (freshers with strong fundamentals may also apply).
• Basic working knowledge of GST, TDS, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software like Tally, Zoho Books, or similar.
• Good understanding of journal entries, ledgers, and general accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
