Urgently Required Warehouse Supervisor (Grocery/Food Segment)

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, logistics, container stuffing, packaging, labelling, and coordination of production activities. This role ensures the accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, while maintaining safety standards and a well-organized workspace. The supervisor will also manage warehouse staff, machinery operators, and support overall production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Staff Supervision & Team Leadership

• Assign tasks and manage shift schedules.
• Supervise warehouse operators, loaders, machine operators, and packaging staff.
• Oversee all production activities related to container shipments to ensure completion before the deadline.
• Train new employees and conduct performance evaluations.
• Foster a productive, safe, and collaborative work environment.

2. Inventory Management

• Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
• Conduct periodic stock audits and cycle counts.

3. Logistics & Dispatch

• Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including vendor and transport coordination.
• Supervise export container stuffing, loading/unloading activities, and warehouse space utilization.
• Ensure correct packaging and labelling of goods as per standards.

4. Equipment & Machine Oversight

• Monitor and ensure safe operation of all warehouse and production machinery.
• Coordinate regular maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.

5. Health, Safety & Compliance

• Enforce workplace safety rules and ensure adherence to SOPs and hygiene protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of warehouse and production areas.
• Comply with regulatory and quality standards relevant to food and grocery storage.

6. Reporting & Performance Monitoring

• Track warehouse KPIs (order accuracy, turnaround time, downtime, etc.).
• Identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvements.
• Prepare reports on daily operations, staff productivity, and inventory status.

7. Budget & Cost Control

• Assist in monitoring warehouse operational expenses.
• Support cost-saving initiatives through process optimization and efficient resource use.

Requirements:

• Graduate/Diploma
• 1–3-year Experience warehouse supervision, preferably in the grocery or food industry.
• Computer proficiency is essential (MS Office, email, documentation tools).
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) will be considered an added advantage
• Knowledge of export procedures, container stuffing, packaging, and inventory control systems.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
